LowePro CompuDay Photo 150 Handling

The strap of the bag connects to it at a 45° angle, so the bag rests on your side very comfortably. The main flap is held closed by two clips making it very secure. Inside there is separate areas for your laptop and one for magazines, document or a tablet. There is then a large area with which put other items such as lenses, with another two pockets on the side. There are another two other pockets on the front which have velcro straps and one zipped pocket. These are ideal for carrying your phone, MP3 player and loose change, as well as memory cards. There are even two holes which will hold your pens securely in place.

On the front of the bag is another zipped pocket, which is divided into three. Although handy, it's not a great place to keep any valuables as they easier to access than the internal pockets. On one end is another small pouch and on the other is the zipped area which holds your camera. It is designed to hold a DSLR with a standard lens and will fit other compact / mirrorless cameras. It can also be  squashed flat if you don't want to put your camera in this section.

LowePro CompuDay Photo 150 Performance

You can cerainly pack a lot of stuff in the bag, I was able to put my Nikon D3000 with a Tamron 12-24mm f/3.5-4.5 lens attached in the small pouch. In the main section I had a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8, Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 and Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lenses as well as a Hama Tripod. Also tucked in the bag was a laptop, iPad, some magazines, mobile phone and pens. Although heavy, it felt comfortable on my shoulder. It's not an ideal bag for long photography walks, but it is great for travelling when you may need to carry lots of kit. The large flap which clips into place means you can secure your expensive items away from potential thieves.

LowePro CompuDay Photo 150 Verdict

The CompuDay bag is really going to suit the travelling photographer, ideal for carrying your expensive equipment when flying abroad. It's comfy to wear, although the addition of some padding on the strap would make it even more so. A recent price drop makes it extremely good value for money.
