Did You Win The 'Macro' Nikon Competition? - Has the judge picked your shot as the winner of last month's 'Macro' photography competition?
Gemma9's shot of a hoverfly wrapped up in a web, being dragged away by a spider has been crowned the winner of the 'Macro' Nikon photography competition. The detail in the image is incredible and Gemma9, who used a SLR with a 150mm macro lens attached, wins a Nikon Coolpix P500 for her efforts.
TimMunsey's shot of a dragon fly claims second place while a low down shot of moss with dew drops set against a bright natural background gave mohikan22 third place. The pastel colours of blomman's shot make him a worthy fourth place winner and Lusitano's shot of barnacles which looks like a pair of volcanoes was given fifth place. These four winners take home a Nikon S9100.
Congratulations to the winners and the shortlisted and thanks to everyone who entered. If you didn't win this time why not enter our 'Colour' competition where there's Datacolor goodies up for grabs? Also, by answering a simple question, you could win a Manfrotto 294 Kit. Visit the competition page now for more details.
