Mamiya Leaf
Mamiya Leaf, a trusted manufacturer and developer of medium format cameras, digital backs and optics is showcasing the new Mamiya 645DF+ camera and Mamiya 28 mm LS f/4.5 Aspherical lens, along with the Leaf Credo digital backs introduced earlier this year, during Photokina from September 18 to 23 at Hall 9.1 Stand B-014.

The Mamiya 645DF+ is the world’s most versatile camera platform for high-end photography. An enhanced auto-focus mechanism delivers accurately focused images, even when shooting in low light or low contrast environments. An all-new custom adjustment feature permits fine tuning the alignment of the camera body to its digital back. This is especially important when taking advantage of the wide range of backs already available for the new camera platform. Also new to the 645DF+ camera is a high-powered rechargeable Li-ion battery, enabling up to 10,000 captures on a single charge.

Mamiya Leaf is also showing the Mamiya 28 mm LS f/4.5 Aspherical lens - manufactured by Mamiya and designed by Schneider-Kreuznach. This is a high quality, extremely wide angle lens with full coverage of the 645 image format and fast flash synchronization capabilities.

Also on display are the Leaf Credo 80, 60 and 40 megapixel digital backs, which include a high resolution (1.15 megapixel) display, 3.2 inch touch screen. Excellent color rendition of up to 16 million colors ensures quick tone accuracy verification. Planned from the ground-up for comfortable, effective shooting both indoors and outdoors, the Leaf Credo display also provides on-screen high resolution Live View when shooting un-tethered.

All Mamiya Leaf camera systems are driven by Capture One Pro raw processing and image editing software. Capture One Pro delivers the world’s highest image quality with excellent color and detail. It contains all the essential tools for high-end performance in one package to enable capture, adjustment, organization, editing and processing images in a fast, flexible and efficient workflow.

The Mamiya 645DF+ and the Mamiya 28mm LS f/4.5 Aspherical lens are priced at 4290 EUR / 5990 USD each. Shipping will start in October 2012.

A new Mamiya is never a bad thing.

Wouldn't be able to afford one of these in a million years, but I must read up more on this.
