The Mona Lisa
Skippered by the owner of Galleon Cruises, Dale Bradley, the Mona Lisa is a 33ft Larson wide-beam luxury sports cruiser Cabrio 330. It has twin Volvo ADP41 engines, a cruising speed of 22-25 knots, and a top speed of just over 30 knots.
The boat is licensed category 3 by the Marine & Coastal Agency to take up to 8 people, and fully conforms to all their requirements. It has all of the latest safety equipment as well as the most up to date technology (220V generator included) and provides a galley, 6 bunks, toilets and showers. Food and Drink can be provided on request.
The Mona Lisa is extremely stable in rough weather and has an easy access platform on the stern as well as fully enclosed covers. The crew are friendly and experienced to help out where needed, and can provide a standby service with flexible hours, often at short notice.
Joanne Nolan (CEO) of Screen South said that “Galleon Cruises were extremely professional and we were very impressed with the Mona Lisa – there was plenty of room for our crew to work in, and the facilities onboard eliminated the need to keep going back to land. We would definitely recommend their services.” Elaine Wickham (Film Producer) Medb Films reported that “Having worked with Galleon Cruises we can safely recommend them to any other company looking to film the local coastline – Dale found us brilliant locations and made sure we had everything we need. Plus, the boat was extremely comfortable to work on.”
