To mark the launch of the new version, Metz have announced that there will be a package deal of its 70MZ5 (V2) supplied with a SCA3402 adapter for Nikon at a price of just 381.88 (including VAT) a saving of over 31 per-cent on the previous RRP of the flashgun and adapter. The Metz 70MZ5 will also be available without the Nikon adapter (for connection to other makes of camera using the extensive SCA adapter system) at a reduced price of 358.38 icluding VAT.

Metz are continuing to work on compatibility with as wide a range of camera brands and models as possible, and expect to have full compatibility with Nikon's D2 range within the next two weeks.
