Press Release:

Since mid-April Michael Siekiera (42) is the managing director for the sales and marketing departments at the Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH. Together with Friedrich Nebel he now is the second half of the leadership duo at the renowned paper mill in Dassel.

Siekiera wants to lead the company into an even more international direction and explains: "With their huge competence in the core-business areas - digital fine art papers, traditional artist papers and filtration papers - Hahnemühle have got what it takes to remain the driving force in the industry. It’s my goal to open new markets and business segments for the company.

Siekiera, who has a degree in business administration and in information systems and has an Executive MBA, has a great deal of experience in the field of marketing due to his previous occupation as the head of the marketing department at the Zeitverlag and as the head of PR and sales promotion for the publishing house Heinz Heise. He is also quite well known in the paper industry: Siekiera was the head of the sales department at m-real and before joining Hahnemühle he was head of the marketing department at Steinbeis Papier GmbH & Co. KG in Glückstadt.
