Combining modern technology with 70 years of optical and miniaturization knowledge enabled Minox Germany to design and produce the popular NV200 and NV300 Night Vision devices. Now, the introduction of the NV 400 into the range signifies further advances in this field as this latest ultra-compact addition features a 2nd Generation optical tube.

Night Vision ‘scopes have many practical uses from casual after dark nature observation, hunters and gamekeepers keeping track of targets and livestock and security guards keeping a lookout for nocturnal intruders, to name but a few.

The introduction of the 1st Generation Minox NV300 just over a year ago was warmly received as it incorporated an extremely compact design with good image quality and opened up a new world of observation that binoculars, even with the best light gathering power, could not compete with.

2nd Generation technology Night Vision ‘scopes produce brighter, clearer images than their predecessors and coupled with a 2x magnification, the Minox NV400 allows accurate observation in light conditions when even the human eye cannot perceive detail. The incorporated Infrared illuminator allows close-range observation to a distance of about 50 yards in near total darkness.

The NV400 comes complete with a 1.6x converter which, when placed over the front lens, gives the ‘scope a 3.2x magnification with only negligible image degradation. A video adapter is an optional accessory and this will fit on nearly all cameras with a 37mm filter thread allowing recording of the produced image for future viewing.

The NV400 can be mounted on a tripod using the incorporated ¼ inch tripod screw thread, allowing for long periods of observation without the need to hand-hold the ‘scope.
