Multifunction light meter joins Gossen range

Gossen have announced the launch of the Starlight, an all-in-one lightmeter for ambient and flash - which also has cine and photometric functions. Attractively styled and easy to operate, the Starlight comes in a robust water resistant housing which features rubberised edges for a secure grip. Reflected light can be measured through the viewfinder at 1 or 5 angles, while incident reading can be carried out with the raised diffuser for surround lighting or by lowering the diffuser for flat plane lighting situations
The Starlite can also be pre-set to show photometric function, cine filming readings or Zone System measurements. - and is able to average up to nine separate reading from a scene, both for ambient and flash measurement.
The Gossen Starlite will be available from professional dealers and will be priced around 350.
