The Smothering

Fine-art photographer Miss Aniela is taking her 'levitation' workshop across the UK, demonstrating the techniques used in her internationally-renowned trick images. Learn how to creative ‘trick’ or ‘levitation’ photography at these unique workshops set in studios with a model, teaching both the shooting and editing of an image in Miss Aniela’s signature surreal style. A group of 8 students take part. The afternoon is spent on step-by-step editing in Photoshop showing the artist’s post-production secrets to the finished image. Following the workshop, everyone receives a levitation tutorial from Miss Aniela.

This workshop is ideal for those people who want to use Photoshop and start to understand the principles of digital post-production.  It’s also handy for those photographers who are used to using Photoshop but are curious about techniques used to create surreal images.

The workshops are taking place on 23 September in Manchester, 25 September in Edinburgh, 27 September in Birmingham, and 01 October in London. All non-London workshops are £199, and the London workshop is £225.

Find out more at Miss Aniela's Blog or by taking a look at Miss Aniela’s levitation workshop video.
