Jessops has added a new compact monocular to its range of optical viewing products.

New compact monocular added to the Jessops rangeAn alternative to binoculars, the Jessops monocular 7 x 18 DCF gives up to seven times magnification, and is compact enough to fit into any small bag or pocket - making it ideal for general use. So whether you are out hiking, bird-watching, racing, or visiting the theatre, the handy monocular can be taken with you.

With coated optics for a crisper picture, focusing is achieved via the rotating eyepiece. The monocular also has an adjustable eyecup which can be rolled down for spectacle wearers, bringing the users eyes closer to the lens to improve viewing.

Craig Harrison, Own Brand Product Manager for Jessops said, " Measuring 77x33mm and weighing just 52g, the monocular is so unobtrusive you can take anywhere. It comes complete with a handy neck strap to ensure it's always easily accessible".

Although the monocular is ultra hard wearing and is manufactured to an extremely high standard, as with all Jessops-brand products, it is backed by a ten-year guarantee.

The monocular comes compete with case and strap and retails at £9.90. It is available to purchase from any of over 240 Jessops stores across the UK, by calling the freephone mail order hotline on 0800 652 6400, or by visiting the secure on-line shop at www.jessops.com.
