Agreed.

Now if they'd added a double-wide/pano 72 x 24mm it'd be really exciting, at least for me anyhow

£349.00 ?

Surely that`s a typing error and you really meant £34.99

I agree with Paul... Lomo are the masters of marketing. take cheap plastic cameras that takes horrible photos, call it art, market it as cool, and hey presto, thousands of people fall for it.

Why would you pay £349 for that when you can trawl through the second hand sites and pick up a Leica IIIa including lens for £299

The Lomo Society were a great club for Lomo LCA owners and while they've done a great job in keeping it in production, though in China now instead of Russia, it still appalls me that they charge 3x the price for cameras that until they got too big for their boots, could be bought from other shops/dealers at their actual price. I bought my LCA direct from Lomo for £90 about 10 years ago, cost of a new, Chinese one manufactured in much, much higher numbers than the old Soviet ones, £280. Another example is the Lubitel 166, original price for a Soviet/Russian one new, £20, cost of a Lomo Society/Chinese made one £280! If you think the price of the cameras' shocking, you should see how much they charge for rolls of film!
