New compact camera that's waterproof to 130 feet - New compact camera that's waterproof to depths of 130 feet and shock proof up to 6 feet.
You may not have heard of the SeaLife brand but if you want a camera you can take on a SCUBA diving trip and can still fit into the pocket of your Bermuda shorts then they're a company you may want to take a closer look at.
Their new camera, the Mini II, is waterproof to 130feet/40meters and features rubber armour making it shockproof up to 6feet/2meters.
This self-contained, 9Mp camera features a 2.4inch screen, large, wide-spread controls and no complicated menus which should make it easy to operate. It features an instant focus lens, is SD and SDHC card compatible and can shoot video at 30fps with sound.
There's no news on the price yet but as the Mini II can go to such depths without any additional protective housing it's certainly an interesting competitor that will be added to the compact market this March.
