New Wave Photography Exhibition 2013 - The New Wave Photography Exhibition is heading for Poland after a successful show in London.

After attracting over 2,000 visitors to London's historic Crypt Gallery, an exhibition showcasing over fifty works by photographers from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia is heading for Krakow, Poland for the next part of its tour.

The exhibition, which recognises the rise of contemporary photography from the CEE region, displays a diverse selection of work including surrealism, minimalist landscape, classical nude photography, gum print, lomography and digital montage. 

One visitor to the exhibition in London said: "I worked as a photography agent for many years, but have not seen such a fantastic range of techniques before."

  • Martin Hruška

  • Miroslav Zselinsky
Other comments from visitors include praise for Maciej Boksa's Doors of Perception with one exhibition attendee saying: "It reminds me of the book The Silver Key by Lovecraft".
