Nikon - Capture NX1.1 software in Europe
Press release:
Nikon, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of quality photographic technology and peripherals, is now shipping its Capture NX1.1 software in Europe.

Capture NX 1.1 is an image-editing application now compatible with Intel-based Mac OS X computers and Windows Vista. The updated 1.1 version of this software is faster and more effective than its predecessor, enabling better workflow.

About Capture NX
This dynamic tool makes it possible to manipulate images in a diversity of exciting and innovative ways. Patented U-Point technology offers photographers a dramatically simplified way to edit their pictures, enabling them to enhance specific areas of a picture selectively, without the use of masks, selections or layers. Easy to navigate and user-friendly, it supports Nikon’s RAW (NEF) format images, as well as JPEG and TIFF.

Pardon? I've had my '1.1' since last August. What's goin' on?

Ah! Just re-read this. It's badly worded (Typical Nikon). It's a VISTA-compatible version.

It's A.N. Other 'RAW Processor' Aaron like Capture One and Lightroom but Nikon-specific. Does some clever stuff with 'NEF' files BUT - still need CS et al to finish off.
