Nikon Capture Version 4.40 Updater for Windows Released
Nikons image processing software, Nikon Capture, been updated. The new version adds three main improvements which are:
  • Support for D200 RAW images has been added.
  • A B&W (black-and-white) option has been added to the Color Mode item in the Advanced RAW tool palette.
  • Improvements to the method used to reproduce tones in highlight areas, preventing a loss of detail when Exp Comp is set to a negative value. (Does not apply to RAW images captured with the D1 or COOLPIX-series cameras.)
Cameras supported by this software are:
SLR D1 / D1H / D1X / D100 / D2H / D2Hs / D2x / D200 / D50 / D70 / D70s.
COOLPIX 5000 / 5400 / 5700 / 8400 / 8700 / 8800 (camera communication not supported / only image editing is supported)

Downloaded but will not install. Keeps saying 'you have a different region version installed'. But I got the last update from the same place?
Downloaded & installed OK here.

Installed and failed with 'region' notice, so I downloaded from the US site and it worked fine (I bought my copy of Capture from the US as it was selling there for less than half what Jessops were quoting in the UK).
Ditto with download from US. I too bought original from there but previous updates have worked from UK. Hey ho never mind - all OK now.
