Nikon Coolpix S1200pj and S100 Digital Compact Cameras

An enhanced projector and 3D image shooting capabilities are just two of the features found on two of Nikon's new COOLPIX cameras.

The COOLPIX S1200pj is the latest COOLPIX to feature an integrated projector and can project images that are 20 lumens brighter than its predecessors and it can be instantly connected to an iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It can create projected images from 26 to 152 cm (5 to 60 inches) in size. Luminous controls on the camera and the optional remote control also make for easy operation in dark situations. The camera features a 14 megapixel CCD image sensor, HD (720p) movie recording with stereo sound, a NIKKOR wide-angle 5x zoom lens and four functions to automatically counter blurring. With 16 megapixels, a 3.5 inch OLED touch screen and 3D image shooting capabilities, the COOLPIX S100 is designed to be both high-tech and stylish. The dedicated 3D shooting mode combines two images taken from different positions to create a 3D image that can be played back on 3D-capable TVs and computers. The camera features a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, it features Full HD (1080p) movie recording with stereo sound, a NIKKOR wide-angle 5x zoom lens, anti-blur technology and dedicated light modes such as Night Portrait. There's also a panorama features that can shoot 360° and 180° vertical or horizontal panorama photos. The COOLPIX S100 comes in three colours: pink, black and red.

The COOLPIX S1200pj has an RRP of £399.99 / €464.00 and is available from 22 September 2011 while the COOLPIX S100 is priced at £249.99 / €290.00 and will be available from 01 September 2011.
