We go hands on with the ultra compact Nikon Coolpix S2600, Nikon Coolpix S3300 and Nikon Coolpix S4300. These compact cameras will be available in a number of colours and varieties.

Nikon Coolpix S2600 Hands-On

The Nikon Coolpix S2600 will be available in red, black or purple (with a pattern), exclusively through Argos from January the 20th, for £69. The camera features a wide-angle 5x optical zoom lens (26-130mm equivalent), 19.5mm thick body, electronic vibration reduction, 14 megapixel sensor, 2.5 inch screen, 720p video and 220 shot battery life from the rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Nikon Coolpix S3300 Hands-On

The update to Nikon's number one selling camera, the Nikon Coolpix S3100. The S3100 was so successful it was actually Europe's number one selling digital camera! The S3300 updates the camera with a wide-angle 6x optical zoom lens (26-156mm equivalent), a 19.5mm thick body, 16 megapixel sensor, 2.7 inch screen, retouch menu, lens-shift vibration reduction, 720p video and 210 shot battery life. The camera will be available in black, blue, pink, green, purple, red and silver from the 23rd of February with an RRP of £129.

The Nikon Coolpix S3200 is an alternative version with a slight difference that will be sold through an exclusive retailer: Currys Digital / PC World.

Nikon Coolpix S3300

Nikon Coolpix S4300 Hands-On

The Nikon Coolpix S4300 features a 16 megapixel sensor, 6x optical zoom lens (26-156mm equivalent), 5cm macro mode, ISO80 to ISO3200, 3inch screen, 720p video, and 180 shot battery life. The Nikon Coolpix S4300 is available from Jessops in black, white, red and silver from February the 23rd.

The Nikon Coolpix S4200 is another version with a slight difference and will be available in black or red, from Comet.
