Nikon Coolpix S6200 and S8200 Digital Compact Cameras

Two 16 megapixel, 'super-zoom' compact cameras, one with a 10x zoom and the other with a 14x zoom, have joined Nikon's COOLPIX Style (S) range.

Available in six colours, the COOLPIX S6200 with its 10x wide-angle NIKKOR zoom lens will shoot both stills and videos (HD (720p)) and features anti-blur functions as well as special effects and filters that can be applied to images or movies the camera records.

As well as the 14x zoom wide-angle NIKKOR lens, the COOLPIX S8200 features a 16 megapixel back illuminated CMOS image sensor, ensuring that even in low light or extremely bright conditions, the camera will easily capture the shot you're trying to take. The camera also boasts quick auto focus, fast start up and continuous shooting speeds. There's also a Full HD (1080p) movie-recording option available with stereo sound. The COOLPIX S8200 comes in four colours: black, red, silver and white.

The COOLPIX S6200 has an RRP of £179.99 / €209.00 while the COOLPIX S8200 is priced at £279.99 / €325.00. Both cameras will be available from 22 September 2011.
