Nikon Coolpix S6400 Hands-On Preview

The Nikon Coolpix S6400 has a 3inch touch screen and is a compact pocket zoom camera that's slim, under 18mm thick, with a 12x optical zoom lens and an easy-to-use touch screen interface with large, easy-to-use buttons.



After taking a photo you're given a prompt to add an effect, of which there are a number, and these are shown in a thumbnail preview so you can see the effect applied to the photo you've just taken.



Features and specifications look good with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor that allows 8fps continuous shooting, and Full HD video with stereo sound. It's available in a number of colours and has a stylish metal body, although we suspect that the wrist strap will be extremely useful as there is little to hold onto.
