Here are a number of sample photos from the new Nikon D3200 Digital SLR - taken with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens. The Nikon D3200 features an APS-C 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and full 1080p HD video recording. We will be posting our full review shortly.

What Digital Camera have already reviewed the D3200 and have given it a 'Gold Award' with one of the best image quality marks [19/20] not seen for a very long time. Thats obviously according to their test criterior. Other reviews may be different.
Its strange that other makes of camera [Nikon & Pentax] seem to get more out of the Sony sensor than Sony themselves do.

I'm very impressed with those white balance test images. Looks a very nice package although it does seem expensive for an entry level camera. For not much more you can get a Pentax K5 which is a far more robust machine.

excellent observation by "kodachrome" about Sony sensor....Sony have cheated a lot of people out of their cash, including me !! I urge all memebers to think very carefully before parting their hard earned cash to the Sony coffers. There is a desperate problem with the final image quality of the sony HX9V compact...the excessive noise reduction/compression ratio Sony have implemented on its CMOS sensor is dire, resulting in a terrible final image. Their idea of "customer service" is downright embarrassing and speaks volumes...they dont care for their customers. I have also tested the new HX10V compact and that still suffers badly from the same heavy handed noise reduction & smearing of fine detail.
The only language Sony understands is the colour of OUR money. The answer is simple....dont buy Sony products...im quite happy to buy a Nikon or Canon slr and a non-sony HDTV as Sony have lost me as a consumer BIG time !!
