Nikon UK is delighted to announce that Sutton Images, the world’s largest independent motorsport picture agency, will be using Nikon D4’s for the Australian Grand Prix starting today, 14 March 2013, in Melbourne.

Sutton Images are based at the heart of Britain’s motorsport industry near Silverstone Circuit – home to the first ever World Championship Grand Prix, and have been providing motorsport imagery around the world for over 30 years. With award-winning staff photographers, along with a worldwide network of agent photographers, Sutton Images offer unrivalled coverage of hundreds of international events every year.

Mr Tanaka, President of Nikon UK, says: “We are committed to maintaining Nikon’s position as number one imaging brand and this involves working with the very best in sporting photography. We look forward to working with Sutton Images, whose historic association with F1 spans over 30 years”.

He adds, “Following the London 2012 Olympics where Nikon successfully took over 60% share in the photographers pit for many of the largest events; we are pleased to continue our support for F1 with a strong Nikon presence at races throughout the season.”

Keith Sutton of Sutton Images comments: “My very first camera was a Nikon F2, so it’s fantastic to be moving back to Nikon in time for the Australian Grand Prix. We’ve been incredibly impressed by the level of support Nikon Professional Services provides globally to F1 photographers and we’re looking forward to working with Nikon and our new partnership.”

Nice one for Nikon & Sutton images....Grin

Note for all those who are taken in by " Pixel Count " this Pro Camera is only 16.2 Megapixels....Wink

Just goes to show that its not all about counting the pixels or viewing them at more than 100%..Sad

NASA seem to think so to....Smile

Very true at this moment in time if it's a sports camera you require, but the D4x is sure to have more pixels, faster af and a bigger buffer.
