Nikon get to take home two accolades from this year's TIPA awards.
The Nikon D7000 wins the title of Best D-SLR Advanced while the Nikon Coolpix P300 is crowned the Best General Compact Camera.
Jordi Brinkman, Product Manager for Nikon Europe says: "We are really proud that the D7000 has followed-up on the success of the D90, which took the same prize in 2009. For our advanced D-SLR users, we always strive to offer cutting-edge technology that will appeal to passionate photographers looking for the next step in creativity. We’re particularly pleased that the esteemed TIPA organization has praised the versatility of the D7000."
Sander van Velzen, Product Manager for Consumer Products at Nikon Europe adds: "We have had some great feedback for the COOLPIX P300 from discerning photography enthusiasts, who love the newly-developed super bright f/1.8, 24mm (35mm equivalent ) wide angle zoom lens and stunning, true-to-life images it produces. The resulting award from TIPA speaks for itself: this is one of our highest-quality compact cameras to date."
