Press Release:

Nikon UK today announces that Simon Coleman, General Manager for Imaging, has left the company to pursue other interests. John Read, Nikon’s Finance Director, will be acting as interim General Manager for the Imaging Division at Nikon UK with immediate effect.

Michio Miwa, President for Nikon UK Ltd comments: “Nikon thanks Simon for his significant contribution to the business. We are sad to see him go but we wish him the best of luck for the future. Until a replacement is appointed we have plans in place to ensure that the day to day functionality of the business will not be affected.”

Nikon looks forward to a busy summer and continues to drive sales of its Coolpix and Digital SLR camera range.

Good luck Simon. You've done a fantastic job for Nikon over the years. I hope who ever takes over can do as well. And I wish you (and Nikon) well in the future.
