Nottingham Photographer Wins Multiple Awards

Nottingham-based photographer Philippa Double is celebrating winning 12 awards at this year’s East Midlands Master Photographers Association (MPA) annual print competition.



Of the dozen awards, Philippa’s accolades included overall winner in three categories – reportage wedding, commercial and open category. She also picked up three awards of excellence for her pet, commercial and complete wedding photography, and six merits for images entered in the competition’s wedding and under 5s portrait sections.

Phillipa said: "I’m delighted with my achievements in the 2012 MPA print competition. It’s especially gratifying to be recognised across so many different areas – from weddings to pet portraits and product photography! Hopefully, this showcases my diversity as well as my commitment to producing the highest quality images."

The competition was judged by multi-award winning Fellow of the MPA, Kevin Pengelly, one of the UK’s leading wedding photographers.
