Nova Darkroom Equipment Limited are to amalgamate with their sister company, Permajet Limited.

The two companies will merge on the 1st August under their new parent company The Imaging Warehouse Limited.

The decision to merge was made as Nova, already a market leader in darkroom supplies, felt that the name of Nova Darkroom Equipment was limiting the range of products that they were able to sell.

By rebranding, Nova hope to grow and expand their product range in order to maintain their positive position in the field of darkroom supplies.

"maintain their positive position in the field of darkroom supplies."

Surely the best way to do this would have been to keep a reference to ' Darkroom Equipment' in the Company Name ! !

If I had seen 'The Imaging Warehouse Limited' advertised I would have immediately thought of 'Digital' , as that appears to be the current trend, and not ' Darkroom '

I would like to iron out a little confusion here. Nova will continue to advertise as Nova Darkroom - a supplier of darkroom products (the registered brand) and Permajet (a registered brand) will continue to advertise as the inkjet supplier. However, paperwork and shipping is handled by the actual parent company - The Imaging Warehouse Ltd. - a name synomonous with all aspects of imaging and photography.
This is a positive step forward for all.
