Olympus Mju III 120 35mm compact announced

Maintaining the distinct Mju styling and incorporating advanced technology, the Mju-III 120 is the first Olympus camera equipped with a Camera-Shake Indicator (CSI), a perfect innovation for beginners. When activated, it informs the user if the camera needs to be steadied for a clear shot. If excess movement is detected when taking a photograph, a faster shutter speed is introduced to reduce potential image blur.

Weighing only 205g (with battery), this compact model features a number of shooting modes, including landscape, self-portrait, spot and night scene.

As well as two aspherical lenses, the Mju-III 120 integrates an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass lens, a feature usually found only in high-end SLR cameras. This element ensures outstanding image sharpness across its entire focal range, so you can enjoy perfectly crisp pictures from edge to edge.

The weatherproof Mju III 120 is also equipped with an 11-point Multi-Wide passive autofocus, guaranteeing crisp and clear images in all conditions. Thanks to a newly developed 3-Way light metering system, optimal exposure of each shot is ensured every time.

In keeping with its popular sister models, the Mju-III 120 features a six-mode colour balancing flash, dioptric correction, self-timer and optional remote control, as well as a spot and landscape mode.
