Olympus Wins Two iF Product Design Awards - Olympus has won two iF product design awards for its Stylus XZ-2 and OM-D cameras.

Olympus has won two iF product design awards, for its Stylus XZ-2 compact and the mirrorless OM-D.
Olympus continues to pick up awards for its outstanding design and the trend showed no signs of stopping when the iF product design award 2013 jury awarded two Olympus cameras: the Stylus XZ-2 high-end compact and the mirrorless OM-D.
The mirrorless OM-D E-M5 is a new camera concept, the digital incarnation of the renowned OM series that fuses 60s design elegance with revolutionary technology. The first mirrorless Olympus system camera with an integrated electronic viewfinder, it is a shining example of functionality, user-friendliness and professional-looking design in perfect harmony.

The Stylus XZ-2 is the envy of the compact category, offering both portable design and some of the advantages of a fully-fledged system camera. Its super-bright, 1:1.8 aperture wide zoom lens and manual control options ensure exceptional image quality and flexibility – especially in low light.
The iF product design award is an internationally recognized label for award-winning design and the iF brand has become a symbol for outstanding achievements in design.
The 2013 edition assessed 3011 products in 16 categories. The 2013 winners can be seen at the iF design exhibition in Hanover, Germany (which runs parallel to CeBIT in March), at the iF design exhibition in Hamburg’s HafenCity harbour district and at the iF Design website.
You can also view the full specifications and further details on all the new features and technology on the Olympus website.
