New Firmware Update For Olympus OM-D E-M5 - Olympus have released a new firmware update for their OM-D E-M5 camera.

Olympus have today released a firmware update for the OM-D E-M5.

The update is available from today, 12 July 2012. It has the following improvements:
  • Improved sleep recovery operation
  • AF target is indicated while using C-AF+TR in sequential shooting mode L
  • M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm 1:3.5-6.3 underwater support has been added
  • When using underwater macro or underwater wide mode the lens will move automatically in tele or wide setting.

Don't think I'll bother with this firmware update. I'll wait until they bring one out that fixes the banding issue with the Panasonic 20/f1.7. Olympus informed me a few weeks back they were looking into it.
