Olympus price increase - Olympus have given advanced notice to all their dealers regarding price changes to take place on April 1st.
The statement, printed in this week's edition of Pixel magazine reads as follows:“As you probably know the pound has depreciated significantly against the Euro in recent months and whilst we are working hard at minimising the impact on mainline product, adverse currency movement will affect all imaging and audio accessories including D-SLR lenses and flash guns
which are expected to rise by around 15%.
This is an excellent opportunity to stock up on all product and key accessories before prices rise. Orders processed and invoiced in March will be at the existing prices.
Please check with your Area Sales Manager or our sales office for details. Full details of price changed will be sent out shortly.”
The changes are expected to take place on 1st April 2008. For more information on Olympus, please visit their website.
