Panasonic Appoints New UK Managing Director

Panasonic today announced the appointment of Andrew Denham as the new UK MD, effective from 1st April 2013. Andrew has been with Panasonic for 19 years and replaces Keith Evans, who will leave Panasonic on 31st March 2013 after 32 years’ service.

“I would like to thank Keith for his tremendous support to Panasonic over the years, and to welcome Andrew to his new role," Harris Soejima, Managing Director of Panasonic Consumer Marketing Europe, commented. “Andrew’s sure grasp of Panasonic’s strategy and deep understanding of the consumer are exactly what we need to build on the excellent foundations of record sales and market share as laid by Keith,” Soejima said.

Andrew headed up Panasonic’s Consumer Marketing Group for the UK and Republic of Ireland, before becoming European Brand Strategy Director early in 2012. In this role he handled Panasonic’s Olympic brand strategy as well as running all key European marketing channel communications including digital, CRM, store fronts and mass media.
