Panasonic add a new Lumix to their compact range that has a 16.1 megapixel sensor, 28mm wide-angle, 4x optical zoom lens and a 3 inch touch screen.

The DMC-FS22 is a camera you could take away with you this summer as the wide-angle and 4x optical zoom lens makes it easy to capture family or group shots as well as landscapes and photos of architecture. The Intelligent Zoom function will get you even closer to the building or person you're photographing and the Auto Focus alongside a shutter release time lag as short as 0.006 seconds, means it's perfect for capturing those spur-of-the-moment photo opportunities. The new model is operated through the touch-screen where you can pick various modes including the HD movie option which records videos at 1280 x 720p. When it comes to sharing your photos, the Lumix Image Uploader lets you pick the images you want to share then you simply connect the camera to a PC. You can also add comments and let people know you've updated your photo album via email. If you want to upload images to Facebook and videos to YouTube, you don't need to install any other software.
