Panasonic Lumix Gh3 Wet

Here are a number of sample photos taken with a near-final version of the Panasonic Lumix GH3. We used a variety of lenses when shooting at London Zoo, on a grey rainy day, including the 12-35mm f/2.8, the 45-175mm Power Zoom, and the Leica 25mm f/1.4 for the ISO noise test shots. As the camera is a pre-production model, we have resized the images to 5 megapixels, at Panasonic's request. We will post full size samples when we have a production version of the camera in for review.

I must say the quality of the images and video don't look very good to me. Not a good showcase for this camera.

The hi-re at 3200 is superb. I'd not use anything above that normally.

It seems a step up from my GH2 but I have ordered one of these already expecting the image quality to be little better than the GH2. It's the wifi and ergonomics that I want, GH2 image quality is all I need.

These pics are flattered a bit by the down-sizing, I'd expect. If so, it looks like image quality is will be similar to or a little better the GH2.

The gentleman above seems to have impossibly high standards for acceptable image quality and probably would be better off with a FF camera.

Love the look of this camera !!....it's certainly bigger than my G1, so would fit my large
hands much better !!
The quality of the test shots look very promising, & the ISO test images are superb up
to 6400 !!!!

Look forward to a full review................
