Panono has launched an Indiegogo campaign to bring its ball shaped panoramic camera to the masses.

The Panono has a total of 36 cameras embedded on its surface, which all together have a resolution of 72 megapixels. When the camera is thrown, it takes a photo, allowing you to include everyone around you in the shot.

The camera will also work from being hung up, attached to a pole or held in the hand. There is also an app available, which will enable you to remotely trigger the Panono.

Panono is still in the design stage, but its German developers plan to bring it to the masses soon. For more information take a look at the Panono website

I saw this type of camera being used by rescue teams, they can throw it in, take the photo and instantly see if there is any people in need or imminent danger to the rescuer.
