This course is designed to make the Nikon D90 user more confident with their camera. Learn how to navigate the comprehensive menu display and be more comfortable with using the wide range of manual controls the camera has available.

10th April - Macro Photography Workshop with Ian Pack
Get close to the action on a one day workshop that will cover everything you need to know about macro photography. The day starts with a short presentation of macro & close-up photographs, followed by briefings on lighting, including the use of ring flash, off-camera flash and ambient/natural light; supporting your camera, shutter speed, aperture and depth of field.

14th April – Understanding your Canon EOS 40D
Learn how to use the manual controls of the Canon EOS 40D and navigate the menus to become a more confident user.

15th April – Working with RAW files
Learn how to work with RAW files in terms of manipulating exposure, correcting white balance and applying sharpening and other alterations. All variants of RAW will be covered as will the use of the manufacturer’s proprietary RAW conversion software (Canon & Nikon) as well as Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 7 & CS3.
