Pentax *ist D and *ist DS firmware upgrades now available

Pentax have added a new firmware upgrade for their *ist D SLR which is now version 1.12
The upgrade allows the camera to correspond to media cards that exceeded 4Gb and adds all the updates available in 1.10 and 1.11.

The upgrade is suitable for *istD digital cameras with a firmware version number 1.00, 1.10 and 1.11

The *ist DS has a new upgrade for cameras with Version 1.00 to 1.10 This will reduce green noise that occurs when taking long exposures.

To check the version number, Turn your camera on while holding down the MENU button. The version number will appear in the center of the LCD screen.
