Pentax K-5, K-r and 645D Firmware Updates

Pentax Imaging Systems is pleased to announce Firmware updates for the Pentax K-5, Pentax K-r and the 645D interchangeable lens digital SLR cameras.

The Firmware for the K-5 enables [Changes to V1.02]:

• An improved functional sequence of Contrast AF and improved total speed until focus is done
• All ISO settings can now be selected in Bulb mode, from 80 to 51 200 (whereas with v1.01, maximum
• value was 1 600)
• NEW: Compatibility with SDXC memory cards

Encased in a compact but solid, functional body, the Pentax K-5 comes equipped with a host of advanced photographic tools for the easy creation of great pictures, while delivering high standards of image quality, data processing speed and operability.

• NEW: Compatibility with SDXC memory cards
