One of the recently announced Pentax compact cameras the 115v is the more expensive of the pair. Offering a 38-115mm focal lengh over the 80v's 38-80mm.
Smart design, a wide range of functions, simple operation, a remarkable price/performance ratio - the new ESPIO 115V has everything that the demanding amateur photographer expects from a modern compact camera.
The silver-colored technical and visual high-light of the established Pentax ESPIO range for Spring 2002, the 115V has a 3x zoom with a 38-115 mm focal length. Aperture: F4.3 - F12.2. Weighing only 240 g, with its compact dimensions it will fit in any shirt or jacket pocket, or in any handbag. Making it the right choice for almost any photographic opportunity. Snapshots, landscapes, close-ups from 80 cm or portraits are no trouble at all for the ESPIO 115V.
Typically Pentax: for years the compact cameras of the ESPIO range in particular have been notable for their outstanding convenience of use. The new 115V, too, falls right into this tradition established by the pioneer of the zoom compact class. A precise autofocus and several automatic functions including automatic flash, "red-eye reduction" function, self-timer and automatic detection of the film speed make proper handling of the camera intuitive even for beginners. The display with its rapid and clear information on the top of the camera makes it really easy to know its current operational status.
The new Pentax ESPIO 115V family camera is also available in a date-printing version and will be available in the spring of 2002.Pentax ESPIO 115V Specifications
