Pentax outsources its service operation - JP service solutions has taken over the Pentax service operation with immediate effect.

Pentax Imaging Systems is outsourcing its service operation to a third party provider JP Service Solutions (JPSS). This is in line with the planned organisational changes announced last month.
With immediate effect, all servicing and repair of Pentax SLR and compact cameras, lenses, flashguns and binoculars will be managed by JPSS, a leading provider of after-sales solutions for the consumer electronics and imaging industry.
Jonathan Martin, national sales manager for Pentax Imaging Systems comments; “Pentax is committed to providing the best possible service and support to its trade customers and we are confident that JPSS possesses the experience and expertise needed to successfully meet the changing conditions of the market.”

JPSS is the service solutions division of Johnsons Photopia Ltd, specialising in the service and repair of consumer electronics and imaging products.
