Phenix DN60Press Release:

Firstcall is pleased to announce the introduction of the Phenix DN60 35mm film SLR. This is the first new film camera with Nikon F lens mount for five years (since the F6), but unlike the F6 this camera is aimed at an entirely different market.

Available as a Body only option, this £190 camera has been developed with students in mind. It will also appeal to existing digital SLR users who occasionally want to use film with their existing (non DX) lens sets.

The Phenix DN60 will be available from May 1st 2009. For more information please visit the Firstcall Photographic website.

Interesting development. Pentax bodies look attractive too, one looking remarkably like the Centon bodies which Jessops used to sell.

Any connection between Jessops and First Call, I wonder?
