Jessops are trying to take the hassle out of application and ID photos with their photo taking service.

Instead of using a photo booth to take photos, Jessops use industry approved equipment, ensuring your photos fit with industry regulations and will be accepted by appropriate government bodies.

Their service lets users pick the best shots out of several taken on a digital camera, something that you can't do in the photo booth. If you're not happy with the result, Jessops will keep taking the photo until it is right.

If your photo is rejected for whatever reason, Jessops will do it again for free. The service costs £9.95 for 4 photos. Jessops has 190 stores nationwide. Click here to find your nearest one.

This isn't news! This isn't even new! This is just advertising! This is making Jessops sound really good with a service that Jessops have being offering for years, and that I believe has had it's priced increase! I worked for Jacobs where we offered this service for £6.99. We would take as many shots as the customer wanted until we got it right. This was will the dedicated passport camera - not just a digital camera. Max/Klick will do the same thing. So will alot of cobblers! There are loads of places where you can get non-boothed passport/ID photographs taken for cheaper. I just don't understand how this can be considered as news!
