Photography job

Picture Sheffield are looking for a part time photographer to help them make a visual record of the city. They are based in the Local studies Library in the city and their job is to record the history of Sheffield and experiences of the people who live there.

They are looking for an enthusiastic photographer to join their team who will contribute to the on-going collection of records by taking and processing images for Picture Sheffield.

No formal qualifications are needed but you must be able to demonstrate your ability to produce good colour and black and white images. The ability to manipulate and alter your work would also be useful.

Good organisation skills, the ability to work alone and maintain accurate records are all skills required for the role.

An interest in and knowledge of the Sheffield area would also be an advantage.

Applicants need to have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle and should be able to respond to demands at short notice.

Candidates will be asked to present a portfolio of work.
