Protect Your Lens With A 'Tasty' Wrap - The Photorito is a cross between a lens case and a burrito. Here's how it works.

Photorito
We all know that protecting our lens(es) is important as after all, we don't want them to get scratched and damaged. Photojojo agree that your optical gear should be kept safe but instead of placing their lenses in the ordinary and basic cases we are used to seeing, they're tucking lenses into burrito inspired wraps.

The Photorito Lens Wrap, as it's known, is a protective lens wrap that looks like a tortilla that's made from Tyvek and is cushioned with neoprene.

Here's what Photojojo have to say about the new protective wrap: "The next time your buddy calls you up for a scenic hike, you won't have to lug your camera bag. The wrap does the cushioning for you, so you can toss your lens into *any* bag....Plus, a clever burrito disguise means potential thieves will never suspect that you're packing glass instead of pico de gallo."

The Photorito Lens Wrap fits lens sizes from 24mm – 200mm and is priced at $20.00.

I've been planning to make something similar for months - I have all the materials I need - just not the inclination to sit down and start stitching!

I don't have a 'Dork' vest but do often sling a lens in my non-photo bag when I'm using the small camera case - something a bit more substantial, and less fluffy, than an old sock to put it in would be good Smile
