Calumet have launched the second DVD in their Imagemaker series of training programmes for UK photographers.
Photoshop Basics: I can do that (£14.99) developed by acclaimed Welsh Photoshop guru David Rowley, is aimed at photographers with little or no knowledge of image editing and manipulation techniques.
Said Cardiff-based Rowley, a former GP photographer: “Some photographers new to Photoshop may be quite nervous about what they perceive as a formidable challenge. But this video tutorial turns the challenge into a pleasure. This is easy to understand, step by step training with tutorials that include; Camera RAW, Keyboard Shortcuts, Layer Adjustments, Selective Sharpening, Hot Montage, Film Frame Effect, Black and White Blending, Eye Sharpening and Correcting Perspective Techniques.”
He added: “It’s great to link with Calumet who are working very hard to offer their customers added value with their groundbreaking ImageMaker series of training DVDs.”
Michele Channer, Calumet UK marketing director said: “This excellent DVD packed with 24 superb Photoshop tutorials and more than five hours of video, underlines our total commitment to providing our customers with cost-effective access to the best teachers and training programmes in the country.”
