Picture this - PictureNature have announced new dates for their photography courses and workshops. Book early to avoid disappointment!
The days are getting longer, the weather becomes milder and nature is starting to wake up. It's time to get out there and capture the beauty of what's on our doorstep!
Have you just received a new camera as a gift but are you still feeling uncomfortable with all the technicalities? Do you want to know how you can improve your photos into stunning shots? We provide a variety of courses and workshops which are guided by professional photographers from the local area.
There are still some places available for our small group sessions but these are filling up quickly! Check out the dates below and contact us if you would like to book your place. Should you require accommodation, ask us and we can recommend some nice places in the area.
Learn Your Camera
Gain confidence in the technicalities of your (compact) camera and achieve the results you've always wanted! You will learn all about the features on your camera like shutter speed, aperture, film speed/ISO settings, exposure and white balance. This workshop is also recommended when you consider upgrading your camera to a D-SLR but first would like to experiment with a rented one. Mimimum is two, maximum is four people.
Dates: 12 Apr, 10 May
Digital Imaging (New!)
Learn how to manage your digital workflow and edit your photos with Photoshop Elements 6.0 which is specifically tailored to the amateur photographer! Professional photographer Geoff Banks will guide you through the essential steps to manage, improve and present your photos. In the first session of three hours you will familiarise with the software. During the second session of the workshop you will apply the learned skills to your own photos. A book about the software, course notes and a 1Gb USB stick are included. The software can be provided for an extra cost. Minimum amount of people is two, maximum is four. Basic knowledge and experience of how to use a computer is required.
Dates: 21st Feb, 28th Feb, 6th Mar, 13th Mar
