Pixmantec announce RawShooter essentials - The First Of A New Generation Of RAW Workflow Management Tools For Digital Photographers
Danish digital imaging specialists Pixmantec announce the release of the much anticipated RAW Workflow management tool RawShooter essentials 2005. Building on years of experience at the forefront of the imaging industry, the product is the first of its genre to offer a complete workflow management solution for the digital RAW format. With a fully integrated slideshow, image prioritization coupled with the most sophisticated correction tools available on the market today, RawShooter essentials 2005 will satisfy all levels of digital photographer. The product is available as a FREE download from www.pixmantec.com.
RawShooter essentials 2005 is the only product to provide a solution for the two most common problems faced by DSLR users today, namely editing large numbers of pictures and converting these into the best quality output with the minimum of time and knowledge. The unique full-screen slideshow display helps select images with its unique ability to prioritise them. RawShooter essentials 2005 has a range of sophisticated slider driven correction tools which use proprietary technology “behind the scenes” to give the best possible results with minimal effort. As well as the basic corrections to white balance, exposure compensation and saturation, the product offers ground breaking noise suppression, sharpening and new scene adaptive image correction technology. RawShooter essentials 2005 supports over 50+ proprietary RAW camera formats as well as the Adobe DNG format and is supplied with a thorough, workflow-orientated User Guide including worked examples of all its major features.
Pixmantec are committed to providing cutting edge tools for the digital photographer via their ‘PHOTOGRAPHERS TOOLBOX’ concept. RawShooter essentials 2005 is the first in a
long line of planned product releases, each using the core philosophy of providing tools that
are designed specifically for photographers. "Our goal in designing RawShooter essentials 2005 is to provide users with superior image
quality as well as the fastest workflow ever experienced by digital photographers shooting in
camera RAW formats", said Michael Jonsson, CTO and Chief Software Architect of
Pixmantec CEO Kenneth T. Laerke adds, “It is our belief that the vast majority of digital photographers today have limited use for generic graphical software tools. Hence, it is our ambition to publish easy-to-use one stop photographic applications enabling the digital photographer to process their images and get them to their clients and/or share them with friends and family as simply as possible”.
Pixmantec executive consultant, professional wildlife photographer Andy Rouse, says, “I have become increasingly frustrated over the past year at having to use several products in my RAW workflow to perform what is essentially a very simple task. With RawShooter essentials 2005 I can now do everything in one place. Last month, I took over 6500 images in the Falkland Islands, which would have taken me months to edit. Now, using RawShooter essentials 2005, I edited this number down to 1000 images, prioritized the best and converted them to their final format within two days of my return, something that I’ve never managed to do before. My clients and agents are some of the most demanding in the world and they have noticed the increase in quality that RawShooter essentials 2005 has provided to my images.”
