The teaming of Polaroid to the 'Be a Bag' campaign has been forged through Polaroid's commitment to imaginative design. 'Be a bag' uses Polaroid's images in conjunction with Anya's design prowess to create unique handbags, featuring a fusion of individual imagery, mounted on one of Anya Hindmarch's must have bags.
In linking up with Polaroid, Anya Hindmarch expressed her feeling of photography in her life, she said, 'I have always been obsessed with instant photography. No better way to capture a moment and put people in the mood. Some of the most relaxed pictures have been Polaroid's. They are a real party camera. I am thrilled Polaroid is working with us on 'Be a Bag'.'
The launch of the 'Be a Bag' campaign took place at the Irish Club, in London on September 17, 2001. The bags will be available from Anya Hindmarch on Pont St. SW1, with the Polaroid essential accessories, being any one of their numerous camera ranges available nationwide.
