Looking for some portrait inspiration? Well take a look at these five shots taken by ePHOTOzine member David Pritchard as part of his 365-day road test
of the Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD lens.
This gentleman worked on one several old modes of transport, this one being an old steam train, at the museum. David says: "I’d highly recommend a visit, and seeing as your admission price gains you entry for a full year, we expect to visit the place again nearer Christmas."
Portraits don't always have to be of people! In fact pet portraits are a popular photographic subject.
Think about your portraits a bit differently and focus on part of a person rather than the whole face or body.
David said: "I wanted to share these with you, because it’s something that you don’t usually get to see from me: studio portraiture.
I’d forgotten that last night was a model session at our local camera club, so I’d already taken and posted my shot for the day. Normally, if that happens, I’ll use some of my other lenses, but because I left the house in a rush, the Tamron 18-270mm was the only lens I went out with."
