PowerSketch is an iOS app which turns your pictures into sketches, it even works when shooting videos. Pictures can be shot in the app or selected from your camera roll, videos can only have the effect if it is chosen before shooting. The PowerSketch iOS app is available from the iTunes Store for £0.69.

PowerSketch iOS App Performance

The home screen (top picture) looks great and makes it easy to navigate through the app, although saving images to your camera roll isn't in the most obvious place, you have to go into Capture and select the thumbnail of the last shot taken as it is not an option included in the Share section. Other than that, image taking is easy, as is editing pictures from your camera roll.



When editing pictures you can choose a particular effect and press the green tick. This will save your picture, but then it means you can select another one to combine them. You can also press the picture to view the original.

PowerSketch iOS App Verdict

The PowerSketch iOS doesn't have a long list of features, but what it does do, it does it well. It's easy to use and it's a nice touch that you can shoot videos while using the sketch effects.
