Nikon's next cameras to join their successful Coolpix lineup are the Coolpix 885 and Coolpix 775

The Coolpix 885, announced World-wide today, is a model with a 3.21 megapixel CCD that produces 2048x1536 pixel images.
It has a 3x Nikkor zoom lens with the equivalent of 38-114mm coverage along with a 20-step 4x digital zoom.
Like the 995 there's a 256-segment Matrix meter with centre-weighted, and spot plus spot AF area metering. There's also a TTL white balance control with white balance bracketing and 12 scene modes where Nikon say the camera will optimise settings for virtually any shooting situation, including portraits, landscapes, sunsets and nine others. Fully auto and manual exposure are also available.
The camera offers single, continuous and multi-shot 16 (16 pictures in one 2048 x 1536 frame) shooting along with VGA sequence, ultra-high speed continuous (30 fps in VGA), or movie mode (40 seconds max. in QVGA at 15fps).
A noise reduction mode removes digital artifacts in exposures of 1/4 second or longer. The one-touch upload to the Web via the camera's transfer button automatically transfer images to the web and/or your hard drive at the press of this button while computer users can connect using USB plug and play. Optional Coolpix lenses (using optional UR-E4 step-down ring) and accessories including fisheye, wide-angle, and telephoto converter lenses increase the camera's versatility.
A full spec can be found in our specifications compared section.

The Nikon Coolpix 775 is a 2.14 megapixel model with Matrix metering and a shutter speeds as fast as 1/1000sec.
High speed USB Connectivity for plug and play simplicity
Scene Mode makes taking pictures of common scenes quick and easy (indoor/party, portrait, night landscape, landscape, beach/snow, backlight, sunset)
Built-in 5-Mode Flash To light up any scene (flash on, flash cancel, auto flash, red-eye reduction, slow sync)
The 3x Nikkor zoom lens has a 38-115mm range and a digital 2.5x zoom delivering a total of 7.5x. There's a Best Shot Selector, first seen on the Coolpix 990, that gives you sharp images even in difficult handheld shooting situations
Close up, infinity and self-timer modes let you make great pictures, near or far, and even put yourself in the picture
Images are stored on CompactFlash card for convenient, fast and safe storage. And one button lets you upload pictures to your desktop or to the Web.
The camera comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charger so you're never without power plus Nikon View 4 software and FotoStation Easy.
A full spec can be found in our specifications compared section.
