Quantum Turbo battery part exchange scheme announced

Quantums Turbo Battery set new standards for external battery packs to power portable flashguns when it first appeared in 1986! It became the essential accessory for all photographers needing the utmost speed while using portable flashguns, allowing the flash to keep up with ever faster motor drives and high speed films. The Turbo battery shortens the full-power recycling time of most flashguns to 1 SECOND! Today there are thousands of Turbo batteries in use worldwide.

But, as always, technology marches on and Quantums more recent releases, the Turbo Compact and Turbo2x2 make use of advanced battery cell and electronics technology to improve performance even further and increase compatibility with digital cameras.

To help photographers up-grade their existing Turbo batteries, Flaghead Photographic Limited are offering a very generous Part-Exchange allowance starting at a minimum of 50.00 for a Turbo battery in ANY condition! The offer finishes on 31 March 2006.

The Turbo Compact battery has a capacity and speed very similar to the original Turbo, but is much smaller and lighter and can power a wide variety of digital cameras as well.

The Turbo 2x2 battery has almost double the capacity of the original Turbo, yet is slightly smaller and lighter. Of course, it will power most digital SLRs as well!
